My friend's getting married!!

This is the first time a friend (of around my age) of mine is getting married... I'm all excited about it, of course! :)

A girl whom I met last year, was roomies with... known her as an extremely fun-loving, bubbly, interesting and one with a 'child-like' persona ;) (imagine... she can lick any amount of sauce at any time of the day, he he ;)) ... is getting married in a few months from now!

Nevertheless, its rather strange-this feeling... Have we really grown that old?!!
I still remember the days when I used to whine to go to college... wait for pocket money for the month... write assignments... wonder what chapters to study and omit the rest-all on the day b4 the exam ;) planning what to study further... and so on...

Well, looks like we've to reconcile to the fact that we're of marriagable age now! All of a sudden our moms start hinting on how we look (lose weight if we're fat and put on kilos if we're thin), enriching our knowledge about relatives of whose existence we never knew... they start giving special tips on how to behave in front of elders etc...

It feels like just a few months back that we discussed about how apprehensive we were about 'arranged marriages' - the part of not knowing the guy whom u gonna spend the rest of ur life with... though we all believed that's the best way to get married... And now she says its not so strange after all, she has gotten to know 'the man of her life' pretty well! :) kudos to u girl! I'm so happy for u!

Hope the 'Deep**' brings more 'light' to ur life buddy!!! :)

PS: I shall always remember u and Hyderabad as an entity :) u've made it second home for me!
